Equality – of course
With us, everyone is treated equally, we have an atmosphere that welcomes diversity, and our goal is an even gender distribution. We believe that terms, rights and career opportunities should not be affected by gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or religion.
Our ongoing work to promote equal rights and opportunities is strongly linked to our efforts to be an attractive employer with a good working environment. And as you know, our industry unfortunately has a shortage of female engineers, where one of the problems is that too few women graduate from technical universities and colleges.
In 2017, the Danir & Sigma Group established the “Expect a better tomorrow” foundation with the aim to shed light on injustices. In 2022, the initiative “Femmegineering” was created, with the purpose to highlight female role models in the industry and inspiring women to pursue careers in engineering. Femmegineering also wants to help raise the status of being a woman in a technical program and support them in their choice of education.
We also organize several Femmegineering activities where our own employees meet, share experiences, and have fun together. It can be inspirational lectures, training events or AWs.
